Word to the silly hombres...

Okay, I am by no means a man-hating woman, but geeeezzz, what is it with you guys? It's like you have no idea what it is you want when it comes to relationships. What is it? Figure it out and leave me and other innocent bystanders out of your muckity muck, we'd rather not get bogged down. I've spent most of my young adult life trying to figure out what the hell you people want from the opposite sex. I thought it was as simple as s-e-x but alas, no. Give me a break, no matter how you choose to look at it men are dramatic too, in their own masculine way. Confusion seems to be a common thread among men in their twenties. That's cool, but leave the women who know what they want out of your mess and confusion and work on your issues. We'll work on ours just fine without you.
Just a final note: to the gentlemen who are not this way (and I know that you're out there), kudos to you. I apologize if I have offended anyone, I just needed a place to vent and my private journal seemed to offer no consolation.

Trabajo sans Steve...

It just isn't the same when Steve isn't present. Things were dark, dank and sullen at work. Salt N' Peppa's "Push it" wasn't blaring from the next room followed by peels of laughter. There were no stories of meeting "Little People" in French bars who did Groucho Marx impressions and bearded ladies bellowing show tunes over bartenders dressed in peasant attire. But most of all, Steve wasn't there to make fun of me and my "humble beginnings." It's always fun to hear "Dualing Banjos" playing in the next office. Come back soon Steve, I miss ya.
